Today's walkabout was a session that I enjoyed. I was able to have some quiet time for myself to just roam the streets of Macau freely without anyone in tow. I could pause and take in my surroundings and to try to identify interesting scenes that unfold around me.
My picture for the day was also my first shot taken during my walkabout. One shot was all I had for this and I am very glad that I nailed it as I don't think the lady in the picture would have allowed me a second shot. What I like about this picture is the angle of the arrangement of the "objects" that lend to lead the eyes from bottom left to top right diagonally with the woman, push cart, and man behind.
Also, the picture in black and white brings out the old charm that still belies the city filled with glitzy new casinos. Maybe next time I will pause to try a cup of herbal tea.
