Alone

This was the first scene that greeted me when I stepped out onto the pavement from my apartment block. A lady waiting for a taxi in a seemingly empty street devoid of any living thing other than this woman.

The gap between the parked motorcycles leads the eye to the lady. I particularly like the clean cut lines of this picture with the small slits for windows opposite make it look very very stark and forbidding, accentuated by the harsh lighting.
